Licensing Service
The Licensing Service for Rev Kevin Charles as SSM Associate Priest in Kirkby and EMAS Lead Chaplain will be held at St Wilfrid’s on Tuesday 19th May at 7.30pm. It would be great if lots of us could go and welcome Kevin as he begins his ministry here.

Mothers’ Union meeting 20th May 2015

Mothers’ Union
There will be a meeting on Wednesday 20th May at 7.30pm in the Lady Chapel. This will include a short service, refreshments and a plant swap. Please bring any plants or cuttings etc. you have that you don’t need and swap for others!!
This is being hosted by MU but everyone, men and women are invited to come along.

The afternoon meeting is on Thursday 21st May at 1.30pm in the hall. Neil is giving a talk on Robes and Frontals, colours, etc.

Very Advanced Notice!

Transform 2015 – a diocesan weekend away at Walesby Forest 17th-19th July (weekend before the last week of school term)

A chance to camp/caravan together with worship/children’s activities/seminars and lots of fun.

It would be great for as many as possible to go, let’s put the date in our diaries and start planning now.

Christingles

Help is needed please with Christingle making from 10.00am on Saturday 13th December, before we go to the Christmas Lunch at the Hole in the Wall

Church Christmas decorations

On Monday 1st December from 6.30pm the church Christmas trees will be put up and decorated.

The windows etc will be decorated on Thursday 11th December. Any fresh greenery and help would be much appreciated.

Money Makers Christmas Raffle

Rick will be selling tickets for the annual Christmas raffle for the next few Sundays.

The raffle will be drawn on 15th December.

Please do see Rick and buy your tickets, someone from church won first prize last year!!

Please support Rick and Moneymakers as the main component of our current working capital is from them so we are indeed very grateful for all their contributions this last year.
